Can I tow with a rent car?
No. Towing is a violation of the rental agreement and is not permitted under any circumstances.
What happens if I return the car late?
Late returns can affect the type of rate assigned to the rental. Returns after the Agreed Hour usually result in charge of another day because the Car is scheduled to deliver to another customer.
Can I take the seats out of a rental Car?
Sorry, all seats must remain in the Car.
What is the policy on off-road driving?
Generally, vehicles, including 4-wheel drives, are to be operated only on regularly maintained roads.
Off-road use is a violation of the rental agreement.
Can payment be made at one location and the car rented at another?
No. The renter must qualify at the renting location with their own form of payment, valid driver's license, and must meet the minimum age requirements.
What are the requirements for a rental?
An acceptable valid driver's license, issued from your country of residence, held at least one year, MUST be presented at the time of rental.
Driver must be at least 23 years old for car Groups A,B,C, and 25 years old for cars of all other Groups.
Driver must have a valid license aged at least 12 months.
Is there any optional equipment?
Based on availability the following optional equipment may be offered and charged extra :
Roof Rack
GPS
Baby seats
Can I drop the car at a different location than where I indicated?
This could be arranged with our office, and it implies special charge rates according to the location, where you shall leave the car. But you cannot leave it anywhere else than where you indicated rental without prior contacting the rental office.
Who can drive the car?
Only the person, who has signed the rental, can drive the car. Otherwise, the insurance does not cover the customer. If there are other people, who wish to drive the car, they must sign the contract too, as additional Drivers. The Maximum number of Additional Drivers is 2.
What is your fuel policy?
You have the following two options:
Option One
Pay in advance for the fuel and bring the car back empty. Our Organization will fill the car at, or sometimes below, the current retail pump price. Regardless of how much fuel is left in the tank, credits will not be given for unused gas.
Option Two
If you aren't sure how far you'll be driving but plan to s˄ Top for gas, don't pay Our Organization in advance for gas and bring the car back full to avoid any refuelling service charge

May I reserve a specific Car Model?
Reservations can only be made by Group, not by model. The models mentioned are typical and well-known examples of the type of car you can expect. Our Organization reserve the right to substitute the vehicles for others with similar or superior characteristics or a more expensive Group without any Charge.
Can I upgrade my vehicle once the rental period has commenced?
In order to upgrade your Rental Period, you may come in contact with Our Organization. We will do our best to help you. It depends on car availability.
If the car is damaged would a replacement be available?
Yes, if that car is damaged a replacement would be provided by Gouves car rental, Car Hire Company.
What should I do in the case of an accident?
Immediately contactGouves car rental, Car Hire Company. Don't move the car, Take photos of our car place, signs and vehicle involved
Is there a charge for Cars delivered to my Hotel or Apartment?
Our representatives may deliver your car to any place you wish. This can be either your hotel or the Airport / Port. For Hotels in Town or for places where is a one of our Car Rental Office, the delivery of your Car is Free. For deliveries that are far away from the rental Station, there is an extra charge. This charge is calculated from the Number of Km that you are away from the Station.
How do we find you at the airport?
So when you arrive, you must look for our representative to show your vouchers and get your Car. In the case of small Airports, Our Representative will be holding a Card with your name on it!
What is the policy for Non Show?
For Non-Show our Organization reserves the right to charge your Credit Card for 2-3 days of Your Car Rental Package. It depends on the Car Model and the Car Rental Period.
Do I always need to buy insurance when I rent a car?
If you have fully insured your own vehicle, including collision and comprehensive coverage, and rent a vehicle for pleasure only, you may not need to buy extra insurance from the rental company. However, if you have an accident, you may not be covered for the loss-of-use of the vehicle while it is being repaired. This cost could get quite expensive, therefore, it may be best to make sure to get their insurance.
I have not been to Greece before - do you drive on the right hand side of the road ?
Yes - the same as USA and most countries in Europe - our cars are left hand drive with manual gear change.

Until this time, local currency will still be used and traded. However, prices may already be quoted in Euros as well as local currency. The Euro symbol looks like this: €.
The 12 participating countries are:
Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.
The following four countries will not be participating in the unified currency:
Denmark, Sweden, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
